I’m a dancer, aerialist & choreographer from a small town in Ohio, lived in Los Angeles for the last twenty-four years and recently relocated to San Antonio, TX with my partner & daughter.
As a kid, I loved student government and dancing. My college years were split between congressional internships on Capital Hill and co-running a dance company. After graduating from Oberlin College with a BA in Politics, my first job was as assistant to a media consultant at GMMB Washington DC. Only after a year, my artistic side prevailed as I moved to LA to pursue dance but I continued using my political skills, working in political fundraising and Marketing Director for a live show at the King King Hollywood called L’effleur des Sens.
In 2011 I suffered an external tib/fib fracture coupled with a compound ankle fracture during Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now” World Tour. My doctors feared that I’d never dance again, but after three surgeries and extensive physical therapy in the capable hands of the Cedar Sinai/USC Dance Medicine Orthopedic Department, I achieved a complete recovery. My first job post-injury was aerialist & dancer for the Motley Crue World Tour in 2013.
I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Physical Mind Pilates Certified Instructor and corrective massage therapist under the tutelage of Master Healer, Sensei Michael Tan of SEA Bodywork Chang Mai, Thailand.
In 2019, I launched WRAP YOUR HEAD AROUND SILKS, an online aerial resource and taught aerial at Womack and Bowman: The Loft for almost a decade. I’m the host and producer of The Expecting Aerialist & Greener Grass podcasts with Digitent podcasts. I’ve authored a dance advice column for Backstage Magazine, Bloc Talent Agency represents me as a performer & choreographer and I’m a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, the artist’s guild.
