Ground to air progression for aerialists returning to their practice

AERIAL REHAB is the bridge between physical therapy and the air. It’s a stepping stone back to your aerial practice, a blueprint forward and a helping hand to start your process.

Geared towards aerialists in different stages of returning. Whether you’ve just had a baby, recovered from an injury or if you are just coming back after years of stopping, this course is the safe, effective and fast way forward.

I created aerial rehab because…

  • There’s too much guess work and too little guidance on recovery for our population.
  • Full-weight bearing in the air is too big of a jump for the body when we’re not in “aerial shape.” In many cases, small steps or micro-progressions are necessary.
  • Aerialists need sport-specific ground to air progressions
  • Let’s be real, getting back in the air after a sizable break or huge physical change is super intimidating. Having clear steps forward makes the leap more digestible.
  • Everyone should come back at their own pace. Aerialists want to take CONTROL of their process and this is a safe and effective way forward.
who is this for?
THE Post-Injury aerialist

For aerialists fully cleared to start training again. Did your doctor give you a detailed plan of how to move forward? For most, the answer is absolutely not.

THE Post-surgical aerialist

You’ve undergone surgery, finished your physical therapy and now what?

THE born again aerialist

Haven’t climbed in a year or ten? No fear, it’s never too late to come back to what you love to do. The progressions in this course start from laying on the floor to work on breath all the way up to training wheel down. You will fit into this course, from wherever you need to start from.

THE postpartum aerialist

Whether you had a vaginal birth or C-Section, re-establish the coordination between your core, legs and pelvis, zip together your diastisis recti and find that elusive stabilization throughout your body.

*For women at least 6 wks postpartum not experiencing any pain or have contraindications due to complications.

THE aches & Pains aerialist

So you’re in pain. Maybe it’s just when you train or perhaps it plagues you while resting and doing absolutely nothing. You’re frustrated because your doctors and physical therapists don’t understand what you do in the air and explaining it to them is really difficult.

THE Pandemic-break aerialist

It’s been a rough two years for everyone. Maybe you’re in need of a little inspiration, motivation and guidance to get back to it.

The Just-want-to-be-healthy aerialist

Last but not least… any aerialist who wants a more comprehensive ground to air progression.
